We made it to Cedar Key on Christmas Day and dropped a hook. Our new Friends, Geoff and Grace came along side and rafted off of us and joined us for Christmas dinner. Complete with Christmas Crackers.
The sunset was amazing and Oma was decorated for Christmas!
12/26 found us back on the water for a short trip to Crystal River where the Manatees winter. It was a little bit of a tourist trap.
We did manage to see a few Manatee on Geoff and Grace’s dink. Three manatees sticking there noses up to breath.
After the dink ride, we had cocktails and appetizers on Oma.
On Saturday we headed to Tarpon Springs, but due to the weather forecast, we decided to anchor out and get to Clearwater before the weather changed. Again we have another amazing sunset.
With this leg of our Gulf crossing done, we completed the rim route crossing
Tomorrow Clearwater, where we’ll stay in a slip for at least 3 days while the weather changes.
